Hrmmm.

Have been web surfing and newspaper surfing a lot this past few weeks for Jobs. (if you know of one, gimme a call, seriously!) I have come across the whole area of "surviving the interview". Apparently "where do you see yourself in five years time?" is a difficult question, along with some other clangers and simple stuff. How is this difficult? How do you not see a future, if not into the far future, just at least into the next half decade. Jeez, i can answer right now. Developing my film production company from digital film and television media to include interactive and mobile projects across a range of platforms, that and accepting a BAFTA.

Any questions you've had (or heard) that have made you think you should be applying for their job (unimaginative fools) or go "huh? what does that even mean or matter?"

Some kids just passed the house on their way home from school. They were playing suicide bombers.

Apparently the trick is to get as close as possible to someone whilst yelling sucide, then making a big explosion sound.

i cant decide if this is a good or a bad thing. It certainly sets off a load of interesting debates in my head...

Is it possible for a universal didactic to exist? Do the semiotic and neurological triggers have some discernible baseline or does this just work on instinctual learning (ID led, rather than Ego and SE) and survival instincts. Does the process of learning relate to higher brain functions and specifically human developed forms of modality? Id like to think there is one, though Socratic method seems fine enough for me. What? :P

I might post more and add more theory I'm thinking over later.

I'm off to see The Seventh Seal at the showroom tonight. I just want to say how astonishing both Bergman and Antonioni were as filmmakers, artists, creators and people. As always, every filmmaker lives on in the work of those who come after. I hope to pay fitting tribute to these two (and others)in the quality and understanding of my work.

Today i got my transcript. Now to work!

I am now a Graduate with a BA (Hons)

Phew!

Still no degree results. :(

So i was supposed to get my final degree results last wednesday. Still not online.

It bemuses me for if we had planned and missed deadlines like this we would firstly be allowed to only score a maximum of 40% on the work and then secondly get patronised and chastised by the uni for poor time planning and all that crap. Hmm, they are currently at LEAST a week behind, who knows when the results are going to come out. I just want to move on now and get things sorted, take it to the bank and get some money to get my life moving again!

(the point of this post is to invoke universal comedic laws and have the results updated whilst im typing this)

Hi all,
As most of you know im producing a super hero film. i am currently in costume design and build for the superheroes. I would greatly appreciate anything you can contribute (for a free credit of course) to the costumes. From boots to goggles, to capes to masks, i need a cossie for 4 characters. one hero, one villain, one heroine and one pirate.

Some of the costumes are part built, but i was hoping this plea might get some items to help make them look better than ususal no budget film fare. Anything you think might help would be greatly appreciated.
